National Black Church Initiative Arts Initiative

Below are films and onstage plays endorsed and supported by the National Black Church Initiative.

Through the production of "Born to Overcome", Tinted Glass Films along with NBCI, will help deliver a message of hope as well as provide financial support to thousands of participating churches and organizations who were invited to screen the film as a fund-raiser and keep 100% of the proceeds.

"BORN TO OVERCOME" is the story of a deeply faithful social worker who taps into his childhood experiences of racial prejudice, family dysfunction and a severe learning disability, to help an at-risk teen and the boy's family cope with the consequences of a recent tragedy.

Inspired by actual events, "Born to Overcome" was shot in Indianapolis, IN and Portland, OR by accomplished and award-winning filmmakers. With over 25 combined years of filmmaking experience, the production team of Tinted Glass Films is dedicated to delivering a studio quality picture with an independent spirit. The film is Dove Foundation Rated.
